Wish u would

This song was written for another band who threw me out for making them too much like the Cocteau Twins – they were happy for me to take the melody and lyrics with me to my next musical venture which happened to be Ivy.  I loved writing this song, it kind of came from ideas about communication through dreams and it was inspired by the “Orange Juice” video to “What Presence!” where one of the band is walking along with his bed and pillow strapped to him so he can carry on dreaming. It also references the “Book of Dreams” which is referred to in Kate Bush’s “Cloudbusting”.
