Ivy have reformed!

After a silence of 10 years, Ivy, the Norwich (England) based indie band,  have reformed.

They played their first gig since 1996 during a reunion night at the Norwich Arts Centre organised by Howlback Hum and Wombat Wombat.

Not all original members played - Julian and Justin decided not to participate - but Spence, Paul and David did. They were accompanied by their new bassist, Amï, for his very first gig!

The reception they received was very warm and the audience seemed to enjoy themselves.

There are no firm plans for the next gig, but we’re hoping Ivy might be headlining some time in June. Meanwhile, the band is working on new material - 6 new songs.

Here are a couple of photos from the reunion night, courtesy of Pete Thompson. Thanks Pete!
